Well, I do enjoy teaching. Grading I could do without, but geez... being paid to talk about things I enjoy? I'd do it for free (cf. the Ramble).

Teaching is a special talent. I work at a university, and some of the professors amaze me with their ability to explain highly technical subjects in simple, clear terms.

I taught a writing class here last semester, and it took a huge bite out of my time. The grading was tough, yes, mainly because the students all craved A's more than life itself (or so it seemed), yet most of the papers were not really A level.
