Thanksgiving Dinner
I don't think I'm going to try anything particularly ambitious for Thanksgiving this year. I think I'll try my hand at quiche Lorraine, with a Waldorf salad on the side. The only dessert pie I've made before was one I learned about as an undergraduate: mix 8 oz of lime yogurt with 8 oz of whipped cream, spread it into an already-baked pie crust, and stick it in the freezer until it sets. My 19-year-old self thought it was delicious, but he also liked a drink called "swampwater" - equal parts orange soda and root beer...
