Quite a bit of country this time.

I Dig Rock and Roll Music, Peter, Paul and Mary. When I first heard this, as a preteen, I didn't realize that the title was ironically intended, despite the blatant clue in the lyrics: "But if I really say it / The radio won't play it / Unless I lay it / Between the lines". A wicked piece of snark.
Undun, the Guess Who. I didn't recognize this oldie by title, because of the deliberate misspelling of "undone": "She's come undone / She climbed a mountain that was far too high / And when she found out she couldn't fly / It was too late".
Takin' It to the Streets, the Doobie Brothers. A stern protest against indifference and hypocrisy; Michael McDonald is in fine voice.
I Drove All Night, Cyndi Lauper. Accept no substitutes.
Only a Dream, Mary Chapin Carpenter. A sad and haunting song, one of Carpenter's best.
Hazard, Richard Marx. A song of alienation, love, and tragedy. Not deep, but well sung, I think.
Passionate Kisses, Mary Chapin Carpenter. Not to be taken as a Rule of Life, but fun to listen to.
Do It Again, Steely Dan. A typically quirky offering: "Go back, Jack, and do it again / Wheel turnin' round and round..."
Rock This Country, Shania Twain. I know the Kool Kidz like to dis her, and some of her songs are disworthy, but this one's a rowdy good time.
Aces, Suzy Bogguss. A plaintive but determined song about a troubled love affair: "You can't deal me the aces / And think I wouldn't play".
