While rereading Ancillary Justice, I ran across the following passage: "a lipped bowl of what Shis'urnans call tea, a thick liquid, lukewarm and sweet, that bears almost no relationship to the actual thing".

Do I detect a bit of homage to the late Douglas Adams there?
