Hearthfire Music

Today I went shopping, without leaving home. As suggested in my last post, I decided to buy the Hearthfire add-on for Skyrim, which is now safely downloaded to my computer.

Possibly of more interest, I also ordered some CDs:

The Beatles, With the Beatles and Yellow Submarine. This completes my set of the canonical Beatles albums.

The Very Best of Judy Collins. This was the one missing member of the Snow/Nyro/Collins/Mitchell/Ian clade.

Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, 20 Grandes Exitos. [personal profile] hornedhopper recommended this group to me aeons ago....

Toto IV. To spite Dora, and because Toto was the backup on "Lido Shuffle".

Pete Seeger's Greatest Hits. No collection of folk can be considered even minimally complete without Pete.

Sara Bareilles, The Blessed Unrest. Somewhere or other I saw a rather cute video of hers, and decided to give her a try.

ETA: Thursday.

Names

I'm reading Phineas Finn, the second of the Palliser novels.

There is a major character named Robert Kennedy.

Given that Finn and several of his friends and allies are Irish, this is not a huge coincidence, but it's still slightly disorienting to someone who actually remembers June 6, 1968.
