A final note on Buster's medical problems over the holidays: the wound has completely healed, and he is as bouncy as ever. The vet suggested that I should make sure he gets more fiber in his diet, and recommended a source.

Which is why, every morning, I give Buster (and the ever-demanding Gracie) a spoonful of pumpkin pie filling.
