Snub

A few minutes ago, the Walker Brothers' "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" (which I love) came on and, as is my wont, as soon as the chorus came up I started singing along with it.

Ben, who had been lying in the cubby under my desk, promptly got up and walked out.

I think I've just been dissed.

You have excellent taste in music. I haven't heard either "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine" or "Cherish" in years. And I ought to.

I do love a good baritone, and Scott Walker's voice is just beautiful. As far as the Association goes, I prefer "Windy" to "Cherish", but they're both good.

"Who's streakin' down the streets of the city?"

Oh, sigh.

"Streaking"? I thought it was "creeping", but this site (http://www.lyricsxp.com/lyrics/w/windy_the_association.html) says it's "tripping"...

Why am I suddenly having Bull Durham flashbacks? (to the scene where Crash fusses at LaLoosh because he got the lyrics wrong)

Oh, well. You knew what I meant [g].

Of course.

The 8th grade chorus sang this song for graduation. To this day I can only sing the harmony (g)! That was one of the things I loved most about this group was the vocal harmonization.
