President Obama has released a list of the books he read this summer. It's worth looking at as a whole, but I'm mentioning it here because one of the books is the short story collection Exhalation, by Ted Chiang. I purchased that book earlier this year, but haven't gotten around to reading it. As I said the last time I mentioned him, Chiang is IMO a truly outstanding author of F/SF short stories, and I'm tickled to find that Obama likes his work as well.

Given that, I think I'll be adding the other books on his list to my to-get list.
