Up To Speed

This morning, for the first time in nearly a month, I went shopping at Shop'n'Save and walked at my usual brisk pace. I'd been wondering whether my slow walking was due more to residual anemia or to, well, not walking fast, so today I took off the brakes. It didn't wear me out the way it would have two weeks ago; I was breathing hard when I got home, but not particularly tired.

It feels good. I'm still going to be paying attention to the iron in my diet, but with a bit less obsessiveness, perhaps.
