I remember when those appeared on PBS; as I recall, there was a bit of a Trollope fad as a result. I had already read the first two Barset books, and took on a miffed "I was into Trollope when Trollope wasn't cool" attitude; as a result, I didn't watch the series. (Well, that, and the fact that I didn't have access to a TV at the time....)

I'll probably watch them, but not until after I've read the books.
