I just had a lo-o-ong hot shower - the first hot shower in three days, and the first long one in several months.
I think this may be a personal best: from recognition of a critical problem requiring outside assistance through solicitation of outside assistance to resolution of problem, in slightly over 48 hours. (Combine procrastination with a general disinclination to talk to strangers....)
This precrastination thing has its good points.
