Monday
Another wasted day. As soon as I got up, I knew I wouldn't be able to go to work, so I e-mailed the secretary to let her know and to ask her to try to find a sub. (She did, fortunately.) I've spent most of the day just lazing around - sleeping (fitfully), websurfing, and the like. I think I'll be better tomorrow. My throat isn't nearly as raw as it was; I'm still congested, but less so, and if my head feels as if it's not attached correctly, well, that will mend.
Despite my complaining, I actually have gotten a little bit done. I did set up my Calc students' online homework assignment, and helped one student with a problem over the phone. I've also gotten some new, if minor, insights into one of the papers I'm writing/composing. I finished Tongues of Serpents and am now reading a collection of Anderson's Flandry stories. No walk for the dogs today, alas....
