Suggestions...

On a list of various people's favorite Christmas movies, someone nominated "The Lion in Winter".

Well? It's one of my favorite movies, and it is set at Christmastime....

Feeling the sudden need for a Becket/Lion in Winter double feature...

I need to get a copy of "Becket". (I wore out one copy of TLiW, and had to get a new one.)

Yeah, I like the idea of that double feature. Just call it "All In The Family".

Bruce never liked Lion in Winter until I made him watch it together with Becket. Peter O'Toole's character arc over the two together is some great work, and watching his "young Henry" puts his "old Henry" into perspective.

Lion in Winter is a much better movie than Becket, but they compliment each other very well (once you get over the Faberge egg headresses in Becket, of course). It's Richard Burton at his *least* Richard-Burton-y.
