Crichton... Conducts?

I've been working my way through my Farscape DVDs, and just watched episode 4.01, "Crichton Kicks". It's kind of a disjointed episode, I think, but that's not what I want to talk about.

I'm willing to believe that John Crichton knows a few words of Klingon.

I'm not so willing to believe that he knows the 1812 Overture well enough to teach it (with strings and horns, yet) to a DRD. Okay, all we hear is part of the final (and best-known) movement, but still, it puts a bit of a strain on the old Willing Suspension of Disbelief.

On a related note, I find that my only copy of the Overture is on vinyl, and I still haven't bought that transfer thingy. Grump.

My 16-year-old son could probably do that.

Of course, he's a musical genius, and we have no reason to believe Crighton is one of those. *He* is supposed to be an astrophysics genius.

Didn't you know that astrophysics & music give each other bonuses of at least +3? ;)
