Oh, btw - a friend's daughter who wants to declare a Spanish major apparently cannot roll her "RRRs." My friend called to ask if I believed it possible to learn to roll them. Well, I believe that one can learn to make *any* mouth noise with the proper exercises. Are you, in your linguistic suit, aware of any exercises that I could use to help her learn to do this? If you have no such trick in your own bag, could you please offer this (simple, I'm sure) problem up to your linguistic forums (fora (g))? I'm sure there are some very wonderful exercises out there. Thanks!
