Delays

Spring has definitely sprung. The temperature yesterday hit 80F (and the sun was fierce indeed); the people who mow my lawn put in their first appearance of the year; people are generally reveling in the sunshine and the warm breezes.

I have not yet gotten my spring shearing. Between the erratic weather of the past month, a week's unexpected vacation, and the subsequent enforced lassitude, time and opportunity have not met; I remain shaggy.

Maybe this weekend. :hopes:

Solicitors

I really don't like door-to-door salesmen. Even when they represent a reputable corporation, I resent the high-pressure tactics characteristic of the breed, and the way they exploit the conventions of courtesy to stampede you in their chosen direction.

I find that I am even less tolerant of them when I'm recuperating.
