Just a couple of notes. Friday--Heather's concert was supposed to start at 6. Since all the other concerts ran an hour, & the program book couldn't be bothered to mention a longer duration, I had arranged with the wandering spouse to meet up at 7. You're definitely right about the under-miking on Heather, though; it was hard to catch the words. I noticed she was lively enough, however, that most [if not all] of our cute coterie bought at least her newest cd, if not some of the earlier ones too.
Saturday--Actually, paraventur was the one who suggested the Denny's for a listie lunch, when I mentioned the regency panel ending at noon & wanting to get to Pat Mathews' panel at 1. We left at the crack of dawn Wed. a.m., so it was other folks [presumably paraventur inter alia] who spread the word on the list. Although flattered to be remembered, my spouse was out sightseeing & wasn't at the lunch [but did make several of the dinners]. The person who *was* at the lunch you forgot to mention was former listie Ruth Bitz [who sat right across from me].
Also, Tony came back to the room with us; he's the one who appropriated most of one of the beds & made himself to home, while you huddled skittishly in one corner at the bottom thereof. The masquerade was definitely lacking in entrants.
Aside from those minor quibbles, an excellent con report; I especially enjoyed the details on the panels and the food. It sounds like you made it to more panels than I did though; should I be jealous? ;)
Did you make it to the art show? It was *very* nice [especially Art GOH Elizabeth Danforth's drawings of hobbits, but I may be a bit biased there].
